Passport dilemma for u.s. citizens traveling to UK.?
My two friends and I are traveling to England and Scotland in just two months. I heard from someone that in order to get into Britain these days you need your passport to be updated AFTER october 2005. My friend’s was last updated in June 2005. Does that mean we will be denied entry?? I have never heard of this before, it doesn’t seem valid. Oh, our trip is under 6 months, so we don’t need visas. I am referring to passports…Thanks
No that’s not true. What the user “Docar” has cited are the passport requirements to visit the United States. To make the long story short any passport issued to Americans, Australians, Canadians or citizens of the European Union meets the entry requirements to the United Kingdom (machine readability).
